I’m very excited to reveal a new weekly blog feature to Adore today ;-) It’s called ‘make it personal’ and as it suggests will consist of ideas to add little personal touches to your wedding day. Things that make it special, individual and unique to you. They may also break with tradition… which on a side note seems to be a more popular than ever!

I’ve been to a few weddings in the past few weeks and these little personal touches are the things I remember, make the day feel intimate and made me feel connected to the happiness of the bride and groom. They can be really small things that say a lot so each week I’m going to feature an idea for you to note down, starting with this ceremony idea…

You could easily make a DIY sign for your page boy / bridesmaid to carry down the isle announcing the arrival of the bride (love this part!)… but what I really like about the above sign is that on the other side it has the new couple’s surname e.g. “here comes the Smiths” – how cute is that?!

I’ve got loads of great personal ideas for this feature to come but if you come across anything you think other readers would like please let me know!
