DIY Washi Tape Notebook

Hello and welcome to Adore if you’re a visiting for the first time!

Howdy and high fives to the regulars ;-)

As you know pretty stationery is one of my biggest weaknesses. If I could work for payments in notebooks and paper goodies I honestly think I’d do it… do you have something like this? A simple pleasure you just can’t get enough of? I’d love to hear them!

Anyway my current notebook is filling up fast, which has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that I’m now writing in massive letters and ‘accidently’ missing out pages so I can start a new book. I’ve already got this waiting on my desk, fresh and ready for my neatest writing, plenty of scribbles and long lists:

To make this you will need… a notebook (mine is from Paperchase), washi tape and scissors

How to make it…

Start in one corner and tape diagonally, cutting the edges flush against the notebook as you go and building up your desired pattern:

I can’t get enough stripes so I added a cute black and white spine to my book too…

“This book belongs to Chloe Adlington” is NOT already written on the inside cover. Absolutely not.
