Morning morning.
As some of you know my little sister is swimming in the Olympics next week! I’m nervous, excited and proud to the point of not knowing what to do with myself or being able to concentrate on even simple tasks. So if posts don’t make much sense or it’s a little quieter around here over the next week you know why ;-)
Thankfully we managed to get tickets this time so I’m off to London with the family tomorrow for a whole week! Becky swims (in case your interested) the 400m freestyle heats and final on Sunday 29th July then the 800m freestyle heat is on Thursday 2nd Aug and the final on Fri 3rd August.
To be honest I’ve no idea what to expect, what we’ll be doing in between or if I’ll even be able to blog. However I will definitely be tweeting and snapping away on Instagram so if you want to follow our little journey and keep in touch that would be amazing!
Before we head off I thought I’d share a few pictures from our little family send off party we had a few weeks ago…
Competing in the London Olympics has always been Becky’s dream and I’m so happy for her to have the opportunity to realise it! More than anything I just hope she enjoys every second.
Good luck to the whole GB team!!

Wow, that is simply amazing. Absolutely the best of British luck to your sister, I’ll certainly be watching and cheering her, and the rest of Team GB along. I LOVE the Olympics, the ceremony last night gave me goosebumps, made me laugh, got me chocked up… I really get into watching the events and feel a massive amount of pride in the athletes and everyone involved but I can’t even imagine how proud you and your family must be.
WHOOP WHOOP GO TEAM GB!
(Hmmm, think I’m a little excitable still after the fizz at our opening ceremony party last night)
