Heather and Joseph met at college, studied together in London and Joseph proposed in Paris. They had a small, intimate, backyard wedding in Washington this July with a very international party of guests from Alabama, the UK, France and China.

Despite a relatively small budget, Heather and Joe put together a wonderfully, charming, DIY wedding. With the exception of the macaroons, invitations and rentals, everything was handmade, even the beautiful wedding cake!

Their theme is very vintage chic, with little hints of their love of world travel. Pulled of perfectly with a very neutral scheme of burlap and vintage lace, complemented beautifully with pops of colour from the flowers…
